What are live jackpots?

For every game (e.g., Money Memo) a live jackpot accumulates. It's filled with money from all of the current rounds of that game.

The live jackpot is made up of rounding differences from numbers of players, and also from prizes left over when there are less players winning then actually possible. In other words: If less players solve the challenge in the time given, the leftover prizes go into the live jackpot.

So the live jackpot draws money and grows not only from the rounds you’re playing but from every round taking place. The more players currently playing the game, the more money flows into the jackpot.

Every game has a certain round, the live jackpot round, in which you have the additional chance to win a jackpot. Live jackpot rounds appear randomly. The winner of a live jackpot round receives his part of the jackpot in addition to his regular winnings (jackpot is divided by the number of winners). Even when losing the next round you still get to keep your jackpot.

Moreover: You always win the live jackpot in addition to the round prize.

After a live jackpot is cracked in a game, there's immediately a new live jackpot. With gimigames you can hit the jackpot at any time.
