How does Super Sudoku work?

 

Sudoku, a game originating in Japan, is played on a 9x9 grid. The total 81 squares are ordered into 9 rows and 9 columns, building a magical quad. The whole is additionally partitioned into 9 smaller 3x3 blocks. Most of the squares in Super Sudoku are already completed.

 

The goal of the game is to place the given number in the correct empty square.

 

The digits 1-9 may only appear in each column one time each. In each row, the digits 1-9 may only appear one time each. And in each small 3x3 block, the digits 1-9 may only appear one time each.

 

The game is over when the puzzle is completely filled.
