1 My account

1. What does it mean if my Player Status is "Playmoney Player"?

As a Playmoney Player you can try out gimigames for free. You have time to find out about our services with no obligation and then you can decide whether you would like to register as a Realmoney Player.

2. What does it mean if my Player Status is "Realmoney Player"?

Realmoney Players have paid real money into their credit account. Realmoney Players can play all game types and can win real money. They can also top up their Playmoney Credit for free and without limit, and win bonuses and bonus points in the daily free Wheel of Fortune!

3. How can I become a Playmoney Player or Realmoney Player?

To become a Playmoney Player, you can register as a Playmoney Player free of charge and with no obligations. The first time you pay money into your credit account, you'll become a Realmoney Player. Log in with your Realplayer Player account and click on "Top up credit" in the top right. After you've entered your personal details and made a payment, you're account will be activated as a Realmoney Player.

We want to give all our players the chance to try out gimigames for free. If you're happy with the games, you can register as a Realmoney Player and play all gimigames game types with real money!

2. What does being Playmoney Player mean?

As a Playmoney Player you can test out gimigames for free for as long as you want. You can try out gimigames for as long as you want for free and then decide for yourself if and when you want to become a Realmoney Player.

3. Is it free to take part as a Playmoney Player?

You can take part in online gimigames games completely free of charge and without any obligation. You're not making a subscription or entering into any commitment! With gimigames you can play without any scams or tricks! Registration is also completely free. When you registers, we give you 100 Playmoney Chips so you can start in Playmoney mode straight away and try out all the games. Playmoney games are also played against real players. On top of that, you can also win real money if you want.

4. Am I entering into a commitment by registering as a Playmoney Player?

No, don't worry! By registering with gimigames you are not entering any commitment and you can cancel or suspend your Playmoney Player membership any time you want.

2.3 FREE Playmoney

1. What does FREE Playmoney mean?

Our FREE Playmoney is a fantasy currency (or, to be more precise, money with no monetary value). FREE Playmoney is only available for Training Games and cannot be paid out. Every new Playmoney Player at gimigames receives 100.00 FREE Playmoney Chips to start with.

2. How and when do I get FREE Playmoney ?

When you register 100.00 Playmoney Chips will automatically be credited to your credit account. You can play with these as often and for as long as you want without any further commitment. As a Playmoney Player you also have the option of topping up your Playmoney account as often as you want.

3. What happens to unused FREE Playmoney?

Your Playmoney credit will stay in your account as long as you want. You can log into gimigames again and carry on playing with it at any time, even if you haven't played for months. As a rule, Playmoney credit cannot be paid out and cannot be converted into Realmoney credit.

2.4 Unregistering as a Playmoney Player

1. How can I unregister as a Playmoney player?

To unregister as a Playmoney player. you need to select "Cancel Membership" on our Contact Form and send the message to out Customer Services, You will receive an email confirming the deactivation of your account within 72 hours.

2. What happens to my data when I unregister?

When you unregister, your account is closed, but gimigames keeps your data. If you want to reactivate your account, you just need to send a short message to our Customer Services. When you unregister, your account is only deactivated, so that players don't register more that once and exploit our Skillsystem.

3 Games at gimigames

1. What games are there?

At the moment at gimigames we offer the card games "Classic Rummy" and "Top Cards". We also have the classic Chinese board game "Mahjong Fever" and the memory game "Money Memo".

The gimigames team is constantly working on new game titles and looks forward to presenting the next new game for you soon. Registered members will be informed of new games by email.

2. Which games can I play?

Both Playmoney and Realmoney Players can play all games at gimigames. For Playmoney Players, however, here is the limit that they can only play with a maximum of two players. The stake for Playmoney Players is also always 0.80 Chips, and they cannot choose their stake like Realmoney Players can.

3. Where can I find the rules for individual games?

You can find the rules by clicking on a game under "Games". In the Lobby for each game, where you choose the stake and the number of players, you'll find liked to brief instructions. For each game there is also a link to detailed game instructions.

4. Do all games have a solution or an end?

That varies from game to game. The nature of games like "Mahjong Fever" or "Solitaire Circus" means that they can't always be played right through to the end. so there's no guarantee that they are solvable. Since all participants in a game start with the same puzzle, it makes no difference to the outcome of a game whether a game is completely solvable or not. So the other players cannot get further than you, as least in terms of how solvable the game is.

5. Who wins in a draw?

The rule here is: who ever plays a game first, has the home advantage. So if players reach the same number of points, the player who started the game first, wins.

6. Can I play against players with higher or lower Skills?

No, that's not possible at gimigames at the moment. Because we want the games to be fair, only players with similar Skills can play against each other.

7. Can I play the games for free?

Yes, both Playmoney and Realmoney players can play all games in Training mode as often as they like.

8. How long can the outcome of a game remain open?

Basically at gimigames, a game stays open until another player is found and makes sure there is a game result by playing. As a rule this shouldn't be longer than a couple of hours at the most, but normally it's only a few minutes. However, if a game is still open after 5 days because no other player has been found, then the best things to do is contact our Customer Services.

9. Where can I see when a game ends, or ended?

As soon as a game ended and you aren't logged in at the time, you'll receive a notification via email. You can also see how your game went under "My account" ' "Game results".

10. What happens to my stake is no opponent is found for the game?

If a game is still open after 5 days because no other player was found, then the best thing to is it to contact our Customer Services. Your stake will be entered back into your credit account as a cancellation.

11. "Oops, someone was quicker than you!" What does that mean?

During busy times, when lots of players are logged into gimigames, it can happen that another player confirms the stake for a game a fraction of a second faster than you. If this happens, no stake will be deducted from your account- the best things to do is simply to choose another game.

4 My account

1. Where can I find my Player Account?

To see an overview of your Player Accounts, log in and click on "My Account". Here you'll find all the relevant links to your account and you profile. Under "Account statement" you can view your account transactions at any time. You'll see a short overview of your account status (Playmoney and Realmoney, Bonus credit and Bonus points) at the top right, where you can also see your Player picture.

2. What information is shown in the Player Account?

Under "My Account", you'll find information about your account transactions your Account Status (Playmoney and Realmoney, Bonus Credit and Bonus points), your game results, your messages, your friends, your profile, and much more. To access this information, you must be logged in with your email address and password.

4.1 Topping up your Credit account

1. How to I top up my Player account with credit (money)?

To top up your player account, you must be logged in and click on "Top Up Credit" under "My Account". When you make your first payment, you'll have to enter your personal details. Then you can choose from three payment packages (e.g. €20.00 plus Bonus) and pay for your selection with a payment method (e.g. credit card or Moneybookers). If you have any further questions about payments on gimigames, please ask our friendly Customer Services.

2. What's the maximum amount I can pay into my credit account?

For our and your security, there is a payment limit on gimigames depending on the payment method. If you exceed this limit during a day or a week, then the corresponding payment method will no longer be available to you for that period. This helps, among other things, to limit losses due to fraud with stolen login data.

3. How long does the credit to appear in my Realmoney account?

For most payment methods, the credit you pay in is available immediately. Sometimes a quick security check is required by our payment service provider, so it can take a few minutes for the credit to appear in your account. If you pay by bank transfer, it can take 2 to 5 working days for payment and the Bonus to be credited to you.

4. Why are payments rejected?

A payment can be rejected for the following reasons, depending on the payment method:

a) Direct Debit:

- The bank details entered are already being used for another player account.

- The debit is declined by the bank due to insufficient solvency.

- The account holder of the bank account is not the owner of the player account.

- Some information has been entered incorrectly (e.g. incorrect bank identifier code (BIC)).

b) Credit cards:

- The credit card is already being used by the Player of another Player account.

- The credit card is no longer valid, the expiry date has passed.

- The security code (CVC) or credit card number is incorrect.

- The owner of the Player account if not the card holder.

5. Why is my bank transfer not being credited to my Realmoney account?

Usually in this case the Player name was not entered correctly in the reference line. For bank payments, please always enter your Player name in the reference line. For problems with the reference line (which you can find on your bank statement), please contact our Customer Services the payment can be credited to you even after entering an incorrect reference line.

6. Can I pay money into my Realmoney account with someone else's credit card?

No, that's not allowed! The owner of the Player account and the person making the payment must be the same person.

7. Is my payment data secure?

Gimigames does not save your payment data, but sends it directly to the payment providers, who are subject to strict security security restrictions and satisfy the highest security requirements of modern payment providers.

8. How secure is a payment at gimigames?

All payment transactions as gimigames are SSL-encrypted and meet the strictest security requirements of modern payment providers.

9. Will my personal information be treated confidentially?

Yes, your information will not be passed on to third parties without your consent. Other players can only see your Player name and, if you want, your Player profile. Your email address, first name, surname, address and payment data are all kept hidden from third parties.

4.2 Paying out credit

1. How can I have my credit paid out?

From a minimum amount of €10 you can have your winnings paid out by us at any time using our payout form. The only time a payout is not possible is in the first six weeks after your first payment. The exception protects us from a few black sheep who pay money into gimigames and have it posted back to them by payment providers, but at the same time request a payout from gimigames. Since in these circumstances we only find out after six weeks that the customer has posted back their payment, we keep to this period before the first payout. We ask for your understanding in this matter. In addition, for legal reasons we require a copy of your passport or identity card (front and back) for the first payout. For subsequent payouts this is not necessary.

2. Can FREE-Bonuses or Playmoney be paid out?

Neither Playmoney nor FREE Bonuses can be paid out. But you can redeem FREE Bonuses for Bonuspoints in Realmoney, which you can then have paid out.

3. What's the minimum amount of Realmoney I can have paid out?

You can have Realmoney credit from the amount of €10.00 paid out from your credit account, using the Payout form.

4. Is there a fee for payouts?

Yes; to cover our expenses and the costs of our payment service providers, we charge a fee of €3.00 for the first payout and then a fee of €1.00 for each subsequent payout.

The fee will be deducted from your payout amount each time. For example, if you withdraw a payout of €50.00, then, after the deduction of the €1.00 fee, €49.00 will be transferred to your account.

If your want your credit transferred to a non-EU bank account (SEPA), then the transfer fees will be at your expense.

5. How long does it take for the payout to enter my bank account?

Payouts are processed at gimigames twice a month. In general it should take a maximum of two weeks for your credit to appear in your bank account. On holidays like Christmas the payout can be delayed by a few days. We ask for your understanding in this matter.

4.3 Bonus, Playmoney and Realmoney

1. What is Realmoney?

Realmoney is the money that you pay into your credit account and the money you can win in Realmoney games as a Realmoney Player. You can have Realmoney paid out from your credit account into your bank account.

2. What is the FREE Bonus?

On various occasions we give you Bonus credit. For example, you get €5.00 for every accepted Friend Invitation. The Bonus credit is initially kept in a kind of holding account, the Bonus credit account. To redeem the Bonus credit for real credit, you need Bonus points. You can collect Bonus points in all our Realmoney games, as soon as you have made your first payment. The more you play, the more Bonus points you collect. From time to time we'll also give you Bonus points as a gift, e.g. in the daily Wheel of Fortune. For a certain number of Bonus points you can e.g. redeem Bonus credit and transfer it to your Realmoney player account. So you can use your Bonuspoints to turn your Bonus into cash.

3. How can I release Bonuses or convert them into Realmoney?

Your Bonus credit is initially kept in a kind of holding account, the Bonus credit account. To redeem the Bonus credit for real credit, you need Bonus points. You can collect Bonus points in all our Realmoney games, as soon as you have made your first payment. The more you play, the more Bonus points you collect, whether you win or lose a game.

4. What is the the Refer-a-Friend Bonus?

For every accepted Friend Invitation (registration), €5.00 will be credited to your Bonus credit account. You can exchange the Bonus points for Realmoney credit. Note that you can only collect Bonus points at gimigames when you have paid into you account at least once!

5. What is the "daily Prize"?

Attention! Since May 2010 the daily prize has been replaced by the daily Wheel of Fortune and is not longer offered!

Every day gimigames raffles off €100 of Playmoney or €100 Bonus credit, if you have Realmoney games enabled. Every day when you log in you'll be given a personal ticket number. The day next,, if you log in again, you'll be shown the winning ticket number. So you should log in every day to see whether you've won! If you play for Playmoney, you'll be directly given €100 Playmoney to play with. If you play for Realmoney, you'll be given €100 Bonus credit. Contact Customer Services if you've won and your Bonus credit code will be sent to you directly, which you can redeem.

6. What is the daily Wheel of Fortune?

Since May 2010 gimigames has offered the daily Wheel of Fortune. The best thing about the Wheel of Fortune is you can only win, and it's completely FREE! Every day you can spin the Wheel for free and have to opportunity to receive a FREE game, Bonus credit or Bonus points.

5 Realmoney Players

5.1 General questions

1. What advantages do I get as a Realmoney Player?

As a Realmoney player you can play against up to 4 opponents instead of only one and you can play with different stakes. You can also collect Bonus points to convert your Bonus credit into real money. In the daily Wheel of Fortune, which is only available to Realmoney Players, you can win fantastic prizes and free games every day. And last but not least, it's an extra special thrill to play for real money!

2. Why is it legal to play for real money at gimigames?

Gimigames only offers games of skill and not games of chance. In all our games it's only the ability and skill of the player that decides who wins and who loses. There is no element of luck that would have an unfair influence on the game. As a result, playing for small money stakes in gimigames' online games is not problem. There is a respectable international market of games of skill for money stakes and well over 50 million players with different providers, who test their skill for money stakes.

3. Does it cost anything to take part as a Realmoney Player?

Becoming a Realmoney Player is completely free and with no obligation at the moment. You top up your FREE credit with real money and you also receive a Payment Bonus from us, which you can then convert to real money for Bonus points. If you stake real money, gimigames takes 25% of your stake as a fee. This fee is already part of your stake and is not deducted separately.

4. Am I entering a commitment by registering as a Realmoney Player?

By registering as a real money player you are not entering into any financial commitment. If you are inactive for longer than 3 months, then, in accordance with our list if conditions, we deduct monthly €1.00 account management fee from your credit. If you are inactive for longer than 6 months, we deduct all the credit in your account to cover our expenses. You will be informed of this several times by email in plenty of time and you can have your credit paid out to your bank account beforehand. I there is no credit in your account, gimigames will never send you a bill demanding fees. Your account cannot show a value of less than zero- you cannot be "in the red".

5.2 Registering as a Realmoney Player

2. Who can become a Realmoney Player?

Anyone who is registered as a Playmoney Player and is over 18 can become a Ra;money Player.

3. How do I register as a Realmoney Player?

First register as a Playmoney Player. You can register as a Realmoney player by upgrading your registration. Log in with your email address and password and click on "Top up Account". When you make the first payment you'll be asked for personal information such as your first name, surname and address. After making a payment you are automatically a Realmoney Player.

5.3 Unregistering as a Realmoney Player

1. How can I unregister as a Realmoney Player?

To unregister as a Realmoney Player, simply write a short message to our Customer Services. Select the subject "Cancel Membership". If you have credit in your Realmoney account, please withdraw it first!

2. What happens to my credit when I unregister?

Please have your Realmoney credit paid out before you unregister. Bonus points, Bonus credit and Playmoney credit expire.

3. What happen to my personal information after I unregister?

6 Questions about the Player Profile

1. What is a profile?

Your Player Profile is like your visiting card at gimigames. Other players can see information like your Player name, gender, and your friends as gimigames here. Players can also leave messages on your wall on your profile and send you friendship requests.

2. How can I add friends?

You can add friends by clicking the "Add as a friend" button on other Players' profile pages. The Player will get a friendship request by email, which they will have to confirm. You can also invite friends you don't play at gimigames yet. The easiest way to do this is with out Invitation form. For every accepted friend invitation, you receive €5.00 Bonus credit.

3. How can I show or hide my Profile?

If you don't hide your profile data, your Profile is public. Your profile is visible to search engines (e.g. Google) and other players. If you don't want it to be visible, you can hide many parts of your profile. To do this you need to select in your profile settings whether non registered users (everyone), only registered users (all registered users) or only friends can see your profile.

4. Why can't I see certain Player Profiles?

This means that a Player has hidden their profile because they don't want their profile information to be visible to everyone. You can choose to hide our profile at any time in the profile settings.

5. Why can't us use all the functions on my profile?

A lot of functions are only available to Realmoney Players.

7 Fairness & Skillsystem

1. Do all players in a game have the same starting conditions?

Yes, that starting conditions are the same for all players. In Solitaire Circus or Top Cards 21 for example, each player receives the same cards. Each player has to try to collect as many points as they can using skill. In multiplayer games like Classic Rummy, the cards are dealt out to the players randomly.

2. Which opponents can I play against?

In every game you are only offers other players of a similar Skill Level. This ensures that, e.g. beginners don't have to play against "experts" and lose a lot. Ensuring game pairings are evenly balanced is very important to gimigames.

3. What is Skill?

The Skills Level (the stars) shows your Skills. A player with a Skill Level of 1, for example, is usually a beginner who doesn't have much game experience. A player with a Skill of more than 4 of a very good player. They only play against players of the same level.

4. How is my Skill determined?

You Skill Level is calculated by your performance in previous games. If you've collected a lot of points, you're a very good player, if you've only collected a few points, then you'll be given a lower Skill Level. The important thing is that you're skill level can only go up, it can;t go down.

5. When do I have a high Skill?

A Skill level of over 3.5 is considered high by us. Someone with this level is a very good player. A Skill Level of less than 2 is seen as low. A player of this level is usually someone who is still new.

6. How is my Skill related to my choice of opponents?

7. Why are there sometimes no opponents available? What do I do then?

In multiplayer games like Classic Rummy, you need players that are online at the same time to be able to play. If you can't find other players, the best thing to do it try a two-player game, because it's more likely that you can find one other player than three, as you would need for a four-player game. If you cant find an opponent for a two-player game either, our suggestions is to simply log in again later. Most players are online in the afternoon and early evening at gimigames.

8. I feel like other players win more often than me? Why is that|?

Lots of players have improved over time. The speed and skill needed at gimigames mean that "practice makes perfect". Most players played no better than you at the beginning.

Nevertheless, we have a few tips for you:

- Only play games with few other players at the beginning, two-player games are best.

- Play games at different times of day, since different type of players are online depending on the time of day.

- Some games just don't suit some people, so you might want to try another game. But often it helps to study the rules of the game closely- here you'll sometimes find hints to help you collect points.

- Make friends with good players and learn from them. That's what the message function is for!

9. Are there Skill Levels for Playmoney players as well?

Yes, Playmoney players have a Skill Level as well. It's worked out just the same way as for Realmoney players. Playmoney players keep their Skill Level when they decide to win real money.

1. Which browser is recommended for games as gimigames?

Our games have been tested for Internet Explorer from Version 7 and for Firefox from Version 3 with the current Flash-Player. The games also work on current versions of Safari and Chrome. We recommend you always use the most recent version of whichever software you use.
